There was an equipment failure resulting in no lecture being recorded today (Monday, Oct 3). The problem is being fixed. It was a very simple lecture, which can be easily constructed from the PowerPoint slides.

Dr. McLoon will have office hours Thursday (Sept 29) 11:30-1:30 in his office (Jackson Hall 4-158).

The first midterm exam is Friday (Sept 30). The exam will cover lectures 2-9 and labs 1-2. Remember that you may have up to an extra hour for the exam. Please bring a #2 pencil. The rooms for the exam are as follows:

A - L last name in MoosT 2-620

M - Z last name in MoosT 2-690.

The library has informed me that they have the Nolte textbook available electronically. [link]

The medical school is recording the Nsci2100 lectures and making them available on the web. You can get to them using the 'Lectures' tab in the navigation bar to the left. Please let Dr. McLoon know if you have trouble with this system.

Neuroscience faculty and students will be showing human brains at the State Fair in the UM building on August 27. Professor McLoon will be there 9:00am-noon. Come by and say hello... and eat something on a stick.
